Critical Skills Education requires an enhanced approach to adult and professional learning.
Our Critical Skills Instructor Development Series prepares law enforcement, EMS, Fire-Rescue, and other professionals to become effective instructors in these fields.
Our Critical Skills Instructor Development curriculum is designed for and applicable to Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire-Rescue, and other critical skills professions. This 40+ hour basic instructor development curriculum is the foundation for our other specialized instructor classes.
In addition to the standard adult education methodology, our curriculum expands expands on areas that are unique to Critical Skills professions, such as risk management, practical skill development, performance enhancement techniques, stress inoculation, and much more. This is instructor development for cutting-edge educators.
Our LE Patrol Rifle, Pistol, and other Firearms Instructor courses are PA MPOETC-approved and produce instructors that are capable of not only shooting and running a range, but enhancing maximum growth and performance in their students.
Our firearms instructor courses are built around our Critical Skills Instructor Development curriculum and address topics that are often ignored or assumed by other courses.
We recognize that direct-support personnel are being used more than ever, so our courses are open to Tactical Medics, Consultants, Analysts, and Contractors who have a direct-support relationship with law enforcement.
We also travel, so if your agency would rather host it's own course, reach out to us at LE@criticalskillsacademy.com
Instructor Development is not a once-and-done process. Methods change, mindsets change, and requirements change. Our advanced instructor courses provide Critical Skills Educators with the opportunity to share knowledge with other experienced instructors and educators while expanding and honing their teaching skills.
These courses can provide the required continuing education credit necessary for some instructor certifications.
